Rev. (Dr) Adeolu Abidemi Ogunleye was born on Friday 20th  October, 1972 to the family of Rev, & Mrs S.O.  Ogunleye (Rtd)  of  Aponrin  compound, Isale  Laka,  Ogbomoso. He  had   his  primary  and secondary school education in Ogbomoso and  Zaria respectively. Upon completing his secondary school education at Soun High School, Ogbomoso in 1989, he proceeded to Saint Andrew's College of Education in 1990 and graduated in 1994 with a National Certificate in Education (Political Science & Social Studies). 

In 1990,  whilst attending an  open air crusade of Deeper Life Bible Church at Anglican  Grammar School, Ogbomoso, he gave  his life to Christ and  was subsequently baptised by immersion on 11th November of the same year at First Baptist Church, Ikirun by his father, Rev S.O. Ogunleye.

He yielded to God's call while still an undergraduate student of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife. Based on spiritual conviction, he eventually abandoned the education training at the University and proceeded to the Nigerian Baptist Theological Seminary, Ogbomoso in 1999 to undergo training as a Church Musician.

He got married on the 25th of October 2003, to Elizabeth Omobola Ogunleye (nee Odebiyi) at First Baptist Church, Bacita. The union is blessed with three children, Ayomide Oluwaseun Ogunleye, Adeola Ayodeji Ogunleye and Wuraola (Gold) Eniola Ogunleye.

To the glory of God, Rev. (Dr) Adeolu Ogunleye has deployed his gifting profitably in different areas especially in creative works of music. Notably among his works are Musical Cassettes titled Papa Security (1995) and Story of Love (2004), an Audio-Visual Musical Drama titled 'Namani' (2011) and a Musical Compact Disc titled 'Eje To n Soro' interpreted 'The Blood That Speaks'(2012).

He was the recipient of both The Rev Bamidele Memorial Award for the best keyboard student and The Glorious Fountain Award for Excellence in Choral Arranging at The Nigerian Baptist Theological Seminary in June 2003.

He has authored some publications in peer reviewed journals and he participates and speaks at musical conferences. His hobbies include watching sporting activities, reading and acting drama.
